In March, Wine to Asia has been rolling around the country’s major cities, together with a number of wine exhibitors, successfully organized tasting and roadshow promotions in 10 cities, which not only allowed many interesting and insightful wine buyers and exhibitors to meet with each other, but also covered a variety of exciting and rare wine promotional activities.


From Slovenia’s niche wine regions, to Italy’s innovative celebrities, to China’s wine feast, to Yunnan’s local winemakers, to the funny Living Wine flash mob, to Spain and Georgia’s fine wines, each event was infused with powerful enthusiasm and vigor, so let’s take a look back at the highlights of the event!

The premiere event, Dongguan @Tang Dynasty Dining Bar, was successfully held in collaboration with I Feel Slovenia and Mediterranean Wines, bringing local wine professionals and enthusiasts a multi-style experience of Slovenian wines, including sparkling wines, dry whites, orange wines, dry reds, sweet whites, and more.

@Guangzhou No Limit Society, once again in cooperation with “I Feel Slovenia” and Mediterranean Wines, organized a tasting event with dozens of wine and catering channel professionals to explore the charm of Slovenian wines and the potential of the market.

@ Fine Bento Xiamen, a special tasting event for Chinese wines. Together with Wine to Asia’s outstanding Chinese exhibitors, this event brought a feast of national trends to professionals and senior wine lovers in Fujian. In addition to quality dry reds and whites, the newest popular categories in recent years, such as PetNat (natural sparkling wines), Tea Bubbles, Orange Wine, Kombucha Tea and Okra Wine, were also a sight to behold.

@Nanning Babel Tower French Restaurant, together with Pasqua, the famous Italian Veneto innovator, injected new vitality and inspiration into Guangxi’s wine circle. From packaging design to innovative winemaking style, the whole event was full of topics and vigor.

@Wine Not Kunming, together with Farmentation, brought a lively and interesting wine and fruit wine tasting, with an interesting linkage in the form of local works with winemaker Luo Yuchen from Yunnan.

@Chongqing Gaagaa, together with Joyetown, which specializes in Italian boutique wines, brought a unique Italian boutique wine tasting, with selections spanning the north and south of Italy, presenting a variety of charms of the north and south mingling.

@Chengdu Lalaland, Wine to Asia presented a surprise flash mob in the lively city of Chengdu: 10+ exhibitors in the highly anticipated Living Wine section of the show brought together nearly 100 practitioners and aficionados for a natural wine extravaganza.

@Winesday Hangzhou, in partnership with Lookvin wnie bar, presented a luxury tasting lineup of Spanish boutique wine brands Marqués de Cáceres, Bodega Protos, Bibei, Dominio del Aguila and Grupo Vinos de Arganza.

@Suzhou, in collaboration with Dun and Lady May Patisserie & Cafe, is once again home to a collection of Spanish boutique wines: Marqués de Cáceres, Bodega Protos, Bibei, Dominio del Aguila, Grupo Vinos de Arganza and Felix Solis Avantis S.A.

@Shanghai Wine Universe, Wines of Georgia presents a tasting journey spanning 8,000 years of history, where ancient winemaking soil creates new and infinite possibilities.

In a short period of 1 month, a number of exciting national buyer invitation roadshow as promised, in April, Wine to Asia in the City will continue to move forward, through more unique and creative flash mob activities tour around, aiming to connect with more cities, for the wine practitioners to present a unique and exquisite tasting experience, and invite you to come to Shenzhen during the Wine to Asia on May 9-11 to explore the broader market space and more opportunities for cooperation and win-win cooperation together!
