She will guide you to learn more about the stories and charms behind Swiss wines and taste the hidden wines that are hard to find in Switzerland.

Switzerland, in fact, is a country with a long history of wine making, with wine grapes being cultivated as far back as Roman times. It has about 15,000 hectares of vineyards, one tenth of the country’s land area, ranking tenth in the world. But why do we rarely taste or even see Swiss wine? The reason is quite simple – the Swiss love their own wine so much that they export only 1% of their domestic production, and most of the Swiss wine is consumed by the Swiss themselves!

Switzerland produces about 83 million liters of wine each year, of which 56% is red and 44% is white. Switzerland is divided into six wine regions, each with its own unique characteristics. The unique terroir, together with the native grape varieties and the influence of different countries’ winemaking techniques, make Swiss wines unique in the world. If you like to dig into the niche boutique wines, then you should not miss the country of Switzerland!

The participating wineries are Montmollin, Bouvet-Jabloir and Prieuré. The three centuries-old châteaux are distinguished by the purity of their fruity aromas, the finesse of their textures, and the distinctive flavors of their terroir from the Neuchâtel appellation in Switzerland.

The Masterclass will also bring you hidden wines from the winery’s Terroir Collection, which are not only international award winners and Michelin restaurant favorites, but also hard to find a bottle of even in Switzerland!
